I'm one of those non-indie fans you asked for in the Audio Adverts thread, so I took anobjective listen and I have to say I'm impressed. The use of guitars was interesting and different, and the entrance of the electric guitar was stone perfect, pretty much. The use of stutters fit in perfectly with that part.
The only problems I had were: a) something around 0:57 that I can't describe didn't seem to fit in, and b) there's a hissing noise present throughout the recording. I really recommend EQing it out.

MilkyChocolate responds:

Thank you so much

The thing at (0:55?) was the bass having itself a small intro. Either your system doesn't go low enough for you to hear it properly, or my bass playing just sucks. (My bass is fret-less, and that kind is notorious for sitting around exclusively in the very lowest frequencies)

I can't EQ out the hiss, because it sits in the most important frequencies of the track. On my (now flat) system, it sounds like a humm, and isn't so bad, but a lot of people describe it as a nasty hiss on their systems, so I might re-record differently or find out some way to fix it.

Thanks again. 10/10 review

Around 2:26 where it started getting "choppy" (for lack of a better word) was my favourite part. The whole thing had potential, actually, but sadly the beginning and especially the ending sounded out of key/discordant. Like I said, you certainly have potential, and I'd love to see you improve! To do that, you need to get the hang of both keys and mixing. Once you've done that, I see good things ahead.

I actually purposely put it out of tune at the end, trying to make some sort of creepy feel. I'll change the key a bit.

Gorgeous! I actually adore coming across songs with this kind of smooth, metallic feel to them, so this really hit the spot for me. I'm not sure I could really give you any constructive criticism, though, sorry. There's just nothing much that's wrong with this.

May I ask, did you slow the drums down? They kind of sound slowed down.

VaeVIKTUZ responds:

sorry for the late response, but yes i dropped the bpm of the drum samples, used a few one shots. and i glitch the samples by hand with a few simple effects and beat slicing. thanks for the compliment :)
